It's official: there is a fifth dimension. But it is very small - less than one 10,000th of a millimetre. 'When you realise that the space dimensions of length, breadth and height stretch right across the universe, you'll see why we missed it until now,' said Ronald Cramer, leader of the team behind the discovery at the European Super Collider near Geneva. The fifth dimension is evident only by its gravitational force, yet it has mind-blowing implications.
