  • Computer companies in Silicon Valley have been urged to look beyond silicon rather than trying to squeeze every byte out of obsolete technology. The American Physical Society warned that if they did not conduct post-silicon research, Silicon Valley would lose its place as the world's leading centre for computer innovation. SR
